AMSOIL is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and manage our ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and lead quality programs across multiple manufacturing locations. This role is responsible for establishing systems, maintaining records, driving continuous improvement initiatives, conduct audits, and ensuring company-wide training compliance. The Quality Manager will also interface regularly with vendors and local, state, and federal agencies to uphold AMSOIL's quality standards. This position reports on-site to the AMSOIL Center located in Superior, Wisconsin

Core Responsibilities:



  • Lead, maintain and audit ISO 9001 QMS certification and compliance
  • Understand and manage customer requirements to meet their expectations
  • Analyze defect trend data and take appropriate action to ensure corrective action and customer satisfaction
  • Manage the supplier interface for Quality, Environmental, Safety and Regulatory requirements
  • System responsibility to ensure processes are followed and records maintained
  • Maintaining and updating of the management system objectives
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain and other functions to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Personnel Management

    • Ensure Quality Department alignment with AMSOIL Corporate Objectives
    • Responsible for performance management for a team of Quality Specialists
    • Accountable for cross-training and coverage for all Quality, legally required and systems critical activities





Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of Quality Management experience
  • 2 or more years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed
  • Service orientation
  • Organizational Behavior skills



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Lead Auditor Certificate
  • Safety training in various skillsets
