Our team in the security org is building a software as a service (SaaS) to enable organizations of all sizes to discover, manage and govern their data on-premises and multi-cloud. It is a fully managed, globally available, serverless platform for building security, governance, compliance, and privacy applications quickly, cost-effectively, and at unlimited scale. The platform provides a more holistic understanding of the hybrid data estate, which is always kept up to date with automated data discovery and sensitive data classification. In addition to empowering knowledge workers, this understanding, along with insights from sensitivity, business context, and relationships between data assets is also being used by teams working under the Chief Data Officers (CDO), the Chief Information and Security Officers (CIO and CISO) and the Chief Risk and Compliance Officers (CRO and CCO) to govern, protect, and manage data more effectively. We are looking for a Principal Group Software Engineering Manager to build the next generation security data platform and partner with several teams in Microsoft Security and Azure organization to make architectural decisions in an ambiguous space. As an engineer on our Cloud Ecosystem Security Team, you will develop of core services that form the foundation of the platform. This platform empowers applications focused on security, governance, and compliance, providing unified experience for managing data across multiple clouds. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the field location.
