The Best Players Need the Best People. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial production, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Build and maintain relationships with external partners and clients. Serve as PGA TOUR's primary point of contact to external clients on commercial projects. Work with Director, Branded & Client Production on budgeting, staffing and high-level creative.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study
- Minimum eight years in the television production industry, prior staff management experience preferred. Production experience should include single and multi-camera field production and all phases of post-production
- Experience assisting in or formulating show budgets, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming. Sports production background preferred, experience with the game of golf a plus
- Experience in the different styles of single and multi-camera ENG shooting, lighting technique, interviewing and editing of feature material.
- Familiarity with the following production systems and/or technical equipment: digital linear video editing, non-linear video editing (Avid Symphony, Avid Express), nonlinear audio editing (ProTools) and computer graphics (Infinite, Pinnacle Deko, SGI, PhotoShop, Flint).
- Solid computer skills (WordPro, Microsoft Word, Lotus123, Excel and/or comparable programs)
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Lead production for all commercials, in coordination with Director of Branded & Client Production and other key internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients, creative teams, directors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met
- Manage production timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Oversee the editorial content of assigned projects to ensure that the quality of all projects is at the highest level
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
- Ensure all productions adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and legal requirements
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders
- Write or collaborate on scripts and creative direction
- Create treatments and decks to showcase creative vision
- Oversee post-production process including editing, color, graphics, audio and client/stakeholder approvals, through to final delivery.
- Handle client relations by forming new contacts and building on existing relationships that lead to new and sustained professional collaborations.
- Assist in the development and execution of new business opportunities and proposals as necessary
- Support other feature video productions as needed, both in the field and in Studios, based on overall department needs, capacity and workflow.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
