JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of fleet maintenance and health & safety programs across EPIC. This role will drive safety into our culture, ensure the safety management system is followed, act as a safety subject matter expert (SME), and provide support and guidance to managers and leaders. The position will coordinate all maintenance activities, coach drivers and track KPIs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Fleet Maintenance & Projects:
- Coordinate all maintenance activities.
- Oversee coordination with external vendors and service providers to schedule maintenance activities, procure necessary parts and materials, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Assist in the completion of fleet permits.
- Monitor fleet maintenance expenses and resource utilization, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure all fleet maintenance records are being maintained in Fleetio
- Review driver logs, harsh driving events and Pre/post trip inspections and ensure issues are resolved and drivers are coached appropriately.
- Track maintenance KPIs and report issues and trends to EPIC leaders.
Health & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company safety programs and procedures.
- Provide health and safety training to all employees.
- Travel to project sites to audit, support projects, site leaders, and participate in safety compliance inspections and audits.
- Ensure that all safety reporting is conducted accurately and within the designated timeframe.
- Lead or participate in all significant incident investigations and assist in identifying root cause corrective actions.
- Ensure that audit findings and recommendations are resolved, closed, and documented according to corporate requirements.
- Ensure the implementation of the Health and Safety Management System by site leaders.
- Interface with state and federal officials to address compliance concerns.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards related to maintenance practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies through regular inspections, audits, and documentation.
- Generate regular reports and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of maintenance programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Effective use of and mentoring on the EHS Information Management System.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Must be bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
- Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Regulations
- Basic understanding of heavy trucks, trailers, equipment, and rebuilding equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA and state/federal safety rules and regulations required.
- Experience identifying health and safety hazards.
- Must have computer skills and experience with Word & Excel.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced, and challenging environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel including executive management (Spanish language skills are a plus but not required).

- Capacity to differentiate between situations that allow for independent decisions or the need for guidance from leaders.
- Valid, clean driver's license.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
- 5+ years of experience in Fleet/Driver management and/or the safety and health field.
- Experience with fleet and/or asset management systems or administration experience with asset database systems.
- Experience utilizing EHS management systems and supporting multiple sites.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions and hazards: Variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to bio-solids.
- Ability to work in adverse environments.
