JOB SUMMARY AND MISSIONThe Sr Analyst Category Management supports the Albertsons Corp Buying team as part of the team's Category Advisership and is also responsible for building customer relationships with specific Albertsons divisions in order to drive sales, share, equity, and coffee category growth. This role influences category strategy utilizing coffee and beverages industry knowledge, shopper insights, and business analytics. Additionally, the position identifies growth opportunities via best-in-class analytics including assortment optimization and space planning. SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE - 5+ years of relevant work experience in category, sales, marketing, etc. - 3+ years work experience in Analyst, Category Development, Sales Support roles in the CPG industry - Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline - Experience in syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen etc.) & shopper card data preferred - Experience in space planning software a plus - Experience working with large datasets. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Ability to work across the Microsoft office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Words, Teams) - Basic financial acumen - Ability to sell an idea persuasively - Ability to build diverse collaborative relationships - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing - Comfort communicating and presenting cross-functionally
The approximate target compensation range for this role is $100K to $120K . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
