Summary of Job Develop the company's overall marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment and clarity across all efforts. Establish the short-term and long-term objectives for all marketing and communication campaigns, including the identification and tracking of key metrics that demonstrate campaign contribution to overall business goals and return on investment. Responsibilities
- Direct, articulate and document comprehensive and integrated marketing and communication strategies that elevate brand awareness, deepen audience engagement, and deliver measurable growth and retention.
- Partner with departments across the company (Product, Sales, Quality, Customer Experience, etc.) to align all marketing and communications efforts with overall business objectives and value propositions.
- Leverage data-driven insights to enhance our market presence and drive sustainable success, assessing opportunities to strengthen and refine segment-specific messaging frameworks.
- Lead the creation of cross- functional creative briefs with internal teams and/or agencies to produce compelling, high quality integrated campaigns.
- Collaborate with teams within the Marketing and Communications department (Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications, Marketing Intelligence) to implement high-impact, full-funnel programs and setting measurable KPIs.
- Assist Marketing and Communications Operations in developing ongoing campaign dashboards to track and analyze performance metrics, such as customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, and identify areas for improvement.
- Forecast future outcomes using historical resource(s) and performance data.
- Socialize campaigns results across the organization creating clarity around the performance of marketing activities and their impact on targeted outcomes.
- Write narratives and create strategy slides and executive summaries that translate the marketing plan for nonmarketing audiences.
- Serve as a thought leader, staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, psychology, business, data science, analytics or related/equivalent
- 10 - 12+ years of professional experience related to marketing strategy and communications (Required)
- 7+ years of professional experience developing marketing strategy that differentiate from competitors and that align with
strategic audience insights and business objectives (Required) - Experience in health care/health insurance research including institutional knowledge of capabilities and restrictions with
core audiences (Preferred) - Experience building a research roadmap to align with organizational and department-level goals (Required)
- Experience designing frameworks to develop brand identity and measurable KPIs to track and iterate for optimization (Required)
- Compelling communicator who synthesizes research into a clear, actionable business narrative (Required)
- Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc. (Required)
- Demonstrated ability as a change agent throughout the organization to integrate marketing and organizational strategy (Required)
- Proven experience to manage and lead projects and multi-disciplinary teams (Required)
- Experience working directly with C-suite executives on a daily basis (Required)
