After Hours Support Specialist (Hours are: Tues-Thurs 7pm-6am; Friday 6pm-5am)

JOB SUMMARY:
The After-Hours Support Specialist is an operational position responsible for proactively and reactively handling the after-hour's communication with Trinity's customers and carriers to preserve Trinity's reputation as a Best-in-Class Logistics Services Provider.

This position can be hybrid to any of our locations (Seaford, DE; Fort Worth, TX; Kansas City, MO; Urbandale, IA; Orlando, FL, or Scottsdale, AZ)

Hours are:
Tuesday-Thursday 7pm-6am; Friday 6pm-5am

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Build and maintain positive, working relations with customers and carriers, shippers, and Team Members.
  2. Oversee the successful stages of our customers' shipments, including: Tracking and tracing
  3. Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments
  4. Update and maintain Transportation Management System
  5. Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution
  6. Effectively multi-task a number of responsibilities while managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
  7. Implement basic conflict resolution.
  8. Promptly communicate with Team Members and external parties in accordance with customer specific standard operating procedures.
  9. Issue Comdata checks following specific carrier advance protocol.
  10. Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:



  1. Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  2. Experience in transportation or logistics preferred but not required.
  3. Associates or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  4. Displays organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  5. Willing and able to work over-night and weekend shifts based on a set rotating schedule.
  6. Growth and results oriented; desire to be in leadership/management position.
  7. Reliable form of transportation required.
  8. Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
  9. Commitment to living our values.


WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This job operates in a physical office environment and will require a 2nd and/or 3rd shift schedule. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 10 pounds.

REMOTE ELIGIBILITY: Hybrid to any RSC location
