GENERAL FUNCTION: Work within the Test and Trials department to assist with the coordination and implementation of all Care & Protection activities aboard all BMS vessels.

Works with Department Manager to process C&P requests and documents within the Bollinger electronic Callout System.
Oversees and assists with C&P methods and installation of protective materials over all equipment and assets onboard vessels and within BMS warehouses and storage areas.
Executes C&P activities as required.
Responsible for tracking material and monitoring inventory.
Manage and instruct small teams in methods and company policies.
Monitors all C&P activities as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Familiar with basic Joinery and carpentry disciplines as well as the use of all related tools. Familiarity with common storage and shipping methods such as Shrink-wrapping, stretch wrap, and other packing type methods to protect assets from common workplace risks. Ability to direct small teams in same practices. Must have impeccable safety record as well as advise and monitor all subordinates in safe work practices. Ability to interface effectively with customers, Ships management, Trade Supervisors and employees in all areas within the division.
DESIRABLE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
Four years Joinery or Carpentry experience, combined with some supervisory experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Basic work skills including Safety and good attendance record is a must. Ability to effectively supervise and to interface effectively with customers, management, and employees in all areas within the division. Basic computer and e-mail skills.
