The Revenue, Lottery, Insurance, and Banking and Securities Division is searching for a Senior Applications Developer to design, configure, test, and implement taxpayer management, tax return processing, as well as data warehouse and discovery in the Pennsylvania Tax Hub (PATH) system. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The EBR, IT Delivery Center is the invisible thread that connects Pennsylvanians to vital government services. As a Senior Applications Developer, you will serve as a lead developer on a PATH production support team through the systems development life cycle. You will utilize GenTax tools and components from Fast Enterprises used in the design, system configuration, code development, change management, migration management, and system documentation of business processes for the administration of taxes. Work involves developing various letters sent to taxpayers from the PATH system using the GenTax Mail Manager tool and various batch jobs for various tax process functions, as well as configuring those jobs to run as part of GenTax Job Stream tool. Another key responsibility of this position includes analyzing and translating management and business process objectives and procedures into a technology solution to meet business goals. - Full-time employment
- Work schedule is flexible start time between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Middletown.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; or
- Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
- Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of two or more years of full-time experience with Microsoft VB.NET.
