Material Handler

Your Opportunity:We're looking for a Material Handler to join our team.

What You'll Do:

• Use forklifts and other equipment to unload and stage incoming shipments

• Break down and prep shipments for accuracy checks

• Put products away in the right spots using material handling equipment

• Pick and pull orders accurately using paper or digital order systems

• Move materials to designated areas with forklifts or other equipment

• Help keep the warehouse clean and organized-sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.

• Follow safety procedures every step of the way

Your Shift:12:00pm - 8:00pm

You Must Have:

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer system to track inventory

• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and with a team

• Flexibility to handle different tasks as needed

• Basic computer skills

• Solid math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals)

• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks

• Commitment to following safety protocols

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials

• Frequently required to move inside the facility

• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in a production-related environment

• 2-5 years of experience

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18 - 21.
The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
