Division of Traffic Operations' Administration seeks to hire a Clerical Associate IV to serve as Training Liaison for the division and will be responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and development. Training Liaison will:
-Assist the Training Coordinator with the day-to-day operation and coordination of various mandatory and non-mandatory training and personal enrichment workshops for the division's 850+ employees. Serve as Deputy Coordinator in the Training Coordinator's absence.
-Process training enrollments requests and cancellations.
-Respond to inquiries regarding courses, schedules and locations.
-Update and prepare various spreadsheets and correspondence as required.
-Liaison with training professionals and managers in identifying and rescheduling participants.
-Prepare and distribute training aids such as visual aids, handouts and instructional materials.
-Responsible for filing and maintaining records.
-Performs other related duties as directed.

This position may be eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week, pursuant to the Remote Work Pilot Program agreed to between the City and DC37.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.

Preferred Skills

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment.
