Senior Manager Product Solutions (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of our air travel products. As the Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the end-to-end delivery of innovative and customer-focused solutions in the air travel domain. Your expertise in air pricing, content, and distribution, within our multiple points of sale; Sabre, and Amadeus GDS.

As a Senior Manager Product Solutions, you will

• Lead the end-to-end product delivery process, from ideation to release, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of air travel products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to define product requirements and create a roadmap for product development
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of air faring to contribute to pricing strategies, fare rules, and distribution methods for our air travel products including NDC and Offers and Orders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical integrations with Sabre and Amadeus GDS, leveraging your extensive knowledge of these systems to drive seamless connectivity and efficient data exchange
• Serve as the primary point of contact for BCD agent and client facing technologies (internal tools and solutions)
• Apply Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure effective collaboration across teams
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans to track progress and ensure adherence to timelines
• Monitor project risks and proactively identify and address potential roadblocks, making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track
• Facilitate effective communication and foster a collaborative environment among team members, stakeholders, and external partners
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of products in your portfolio, gathering customer feedback and utilizing data-driven insights to drive improvements and enhancements
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, competitive intelligence, and regulatory changes in the air travel domain, and apply this knowledge to inform product development strategies

About you

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline), or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a Product Delivery Manager or similar role, with a focus on air travel products
• Strong knowledge of air pricing, including pricing strategies, fare rules, and distribution methods
• Proficiency in working with Sabre and Amadeus GDS, including technical integrations and data exchange
• Solid understanding and application of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) in a product delivery context
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Initiative-taking and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Knowledge of the air travel industry, including market trends, competitors, and regulatory landscape, is highly desirable
• Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile certifications) are a plus

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Manager Product Solutions is between $83,000 and $116,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
