Currently recruiting a Contract Medical Credentials Coordinator to work remotely and join a growing healthcare staffing company as part of the Medical Credentialing team that verifies the qualifications of our clinicians. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organization and communications skills, be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro, and have medical credentialing experience in a hospital, clinic, managed care, or healthcare staffing setting. This assignment is for 90 days.

DUTIES OF THE MEDICAL CREDENTIALS COORDINATOR:
  • Engages with healthcare workers to obtain credential documentation and rapidly prepares initial credentialing files for contract healthcare professionals of all levels, from assistants and technicians to physician specialists. Completes mosts credentialing packages within 14 days, and privileging packages within 21 days.
  • Perform Primary Source Verification of licenses, certifications, education, and work experience.
  • Uploads credentials records in online credentialing database system and tracking systems.
  • Review expiration reports for accuracy and Administer system for tracking license, certification, and immunizations expirations to ensure renewals are submitted in a timely manner
  • Remind healthcare workers to renew licenses, certifications, and immunizations and work with Credentials Supervisor to ensure all credentials are in current status.
  • Able to perform duties and exercise a mastery of detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to achieve objectives while maintaining effective relationships with all levels of healthcare professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE MEDICAL CREDENTIALS COORDINATOR:
  • High school diploma
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ideal candidate will have medical credentialing experience in a hospital, clinic, managed care, or healthcare staffing setting.
