Be part of vital public health efforts to protect and promote health through vaccination and disease prevention. The Department of Health Services (DHS) Public Health Division is seeking a dedicated and skilled Public Health Nurse to join their Disease Control Unit!
The Department of Health Services, Public Health Division, is currently recruiting to fill a Public Health Nurse position at either the I or II level. If you are interested in being considered at the different levels of this opportunity, you must apply to the separate concurrent recruitments being conducted for each level.
As a Public Health Nurse within the Disease Control Unit, you will focus on immunization coordination, communicable disease prevention, and community health.

Candidates must possess a California State Public Health Nurse Certificate and a valid California Driver’s License.
