Primary function: Work with the HRD, HRVP and Operations leaders to drive and implement HR strategy, with a focus on retention, organizational development, engagement, and employee growth. Partner with HR centers of excellence and operations leadership.

  • HR Analytics: develop metrics and analyze trends using Workday, HHAX and Qliksense
  • Employee Relations: counseling leaders and employees, conducting two-day employee orientation; participating in case conferences; participating in HR/New Leader Assimilation; etc.
  • Labor Relations: responding to union grievances and requests for information; providing monthly reports to the union (dues, political action fund, hours reports, etc.); participating in union/management meetings.
  • Retention: following up on red/yellow/green and 1:1 monthly assessments; conducting 30-60-90 day review meetings with the management team; Engagement Survey action planning; High potential stretch opportunity development and follow through; working with leadership on high succession planning and talent calibrations.
  • Regulatory and compliance: ensure that all NYC and NYS regulatory requirements are followed; participate in NYS DOH and vendor audits; work with the AC Leave Team/HR Service Center to ensure that all NY-specific mandated leaves are processed correctly; work with inside/outside legal counsel as necessary.
  • Training: assess training needs and work with training and development, HRDs and operations leadership to conduct necessary and meaningful training modules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work closely with business line leaders to proactively improve work relationships, build engagement, and increase productivity and

retention.

2. Analyze trends using data metrics and analytics in partnership with the HR COEs to develop and implement solutions, programs, and

policies.

3. Execute & assist in the development of talent strategies that support company, engagement, and retention.

4. Works as an industry leader, leveraging HR expertise in addition to advanced knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and labor

legislation.

5. Assists analyzing human capital data, understanding trends and providing specific solutions to impact those metrics. This includes

understanding the attraction, retention and engagement of AccentCare's employees.

6. Supports HR Operations team in providing counseling and support to various departments on matters and issues relating to employee

issues/questions and human resource functions.

7. Assists with HR projects and may manage them to completion with the help of others.

8. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

9. Supports managers on a variety of employee issues and concerns in partnership with AccentCare's HR Service Center.

10. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services

performed.

11. Compiles reports from HR data sources as needed to assist with required reporting and analytics.

12. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment related matters.

13. May assists or train leaders on the evaluation of unemployment claims management.

14. Partners with HRSC for review of any escalated background check verification process.

15. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


Qualifications

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates with a Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or Business Administration strongly preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking required
  • At least 5 years HR and/or OD experience in generalist, business partner and/or management roles with a solid track record for delivering results. Preferred candidates will have experience in all HR functional areas, a strong emphasis in organizational effectiveness and leadership development.
  • Preferred candidates will have previous experience in a healthcare setting and/or a consultative selling organization
  • Demonstrated experience serving in both strategic and operational roles
