Sr. Director Corporate Strategy

Our Corporate Strategy group plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's long-term vision, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring alignment across business units. Reporting directly to the SVP Investor Relations, Capital Markets, this group collaborates with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to maintain Seagate's leadership in the data storage industry.

• Develop and articulate a strategic blueprint that outlines Seagate's long-term vision, growth priorities, and investment framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including industry analysts, investment banking, and technology partners, to gather insights and validate strategic assumptions.
• Lead the company's strategic planning process, ensuring cross-functional alignment across technology teams, business units, manufacturing, and corporate development.
• Drive the integration of strategic priorities into operational plans and support the development and tracking of objectives and key results.
• Conduct market research and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
• Assist the corporate development team with financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for investment opportunities and partnerships.
• Foster a high-performing team culture by managing, mentoring, and recruiting top talent.

• 5+ years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a related field, with a strong focus on the technology sector.
• Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends in the technology sector.
• Synthesizing complex information into actionable strategies.
  
  

You might also have:

• Experience in data center architecture, data storage, or adjacent markets.
• Prefer large enterprise-level corporate strategy development experience.
• Prefer corporate strategy experience at a global tech manufacturing company with 10,000+ employees.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• A technical undergraduate degree (e.g., engineering, computer science).
• A background in advanced technology or engineering.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $194,500 - $288,700. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or trainingSeagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible employees, including, but not limited to, , eligibility to participate in discretionary bonus program, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short-and long-term disability, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, health savings account, dependent care, and healthcare spending accounts. Seagate also offers paid time off, including 12 holidays, flexible time off provided pursuant to Seagate policy, a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave, and 16 weeks of paid parental leave. The benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location.
