What You'll Do:

You'll travel to various client locations, auditing reports and mentoring inspectors in real-time. Your expertise in identifying cosmetic and structural damage, paired with your ability to coach and lead, will directly impact the integrity of our services and the satisfaction of our clients.

  • Understanding of NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy
  • Driving to client locations and various auctions to audit condition reports. Could drive up to 75% or more depending on the schedule.
  • Verify vehicle information based on work order information - identify the damage, missing parts, and mechanical problems by inspecting all customer vehicles at the time of receipt (i.e., interior, exterior, odometer reading, trunk area, engine compartment), noting any damage or repair to frame/paint, engine noise, AC/heater operation, radio, tire condition, etc.
  • Maintain a clean professional appearance for client facing engagements such as field visits for audits or inspector training.
  • Set up a system for day-end; perform day-end procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge to ensure all policies and procedures are followed
  • Prepare and provide daily activity report to management.
  • Document vehicle condition in writing by completing appropriate Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) and/or computer data entry on a variety of different accounts; able to determine mechanical problems on test drives.
  • Maintain knowledge of system capabilities, knowledge of needed/job-relevant software packages, and web-based applications.
  • Utilize ECR equipment (Brick, PC, TC75, & Samsung) correctly describing both damage and equipment.
  • Ability to take multiple overall and damaged photos, match them to the vehicle, and upload them to server.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience; Any degree and 5 years of related experience; or 9 years of experience in related field.
  • Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Strong technical aptitude; body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge; mastery of unibody and full-frame vehicles; good organizational skills needed.
  • Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instructions required. Basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of Manheim ICP Inspector Level IV written/field exam; Basic Inspections (Electronic Condition Report), Vehicle Grading, Repair Recommendations & Frame Merit Certifications required
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time; ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel; ability to lift and hold at least 10 lbs at waist level for an extended period of time; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.


Work Environment:

Exposure to outdoor weather and inclement conditions; moderate noise level; may be exposed to fumes and odors; may be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate; periods of extended driving in a company car traveling to client locations; Communicating and working with ground teams at client locations to verify and review desired vehicle inventory.

MCCOX

USD 25.82 - 38.70 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $25.82 - $38.70/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
