Senior Retail Sales Associate

University Stores

* Performs various customer service, retail sales and merchandising functions. Assists in maximizing store profitability, merchandising and monitoring inventory and store safety and loss prevention. May train and manage sales staff.
* Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish team objectives
* Researches, tests and evaluates new inventory and products, as directed
* Promotes special events as assigned
* Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring
* Resolves customer complaints/problems
* Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team
* Explains information to and within the team
* Monitors sales and cash flows, noting discrepancies, impacts, etc. to the team and manager

8am-5pm M-F, Occasional weekends

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00 hourly

Grade: GGS-07
