Job Overview The Environmental Technician (Mechanical) is primarily responsible for maintaining all chemical water equipment used to properly treat the Chilled Water System. The technician will work with the subcontractor to ensure all equipment is maintained according to manufacturer's specification. The technician will be the first responder to emergency calls. As the first responder the technician shall be able to mitigate the emergency situation and make minor repairs to the Chemical System equipment. The technician will ensure proper disposal of the project's waste and ensuring that the project is in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Environmental Regulations. The work may involve inspections, filling out government paperwork, sampling wastes and materials and monitoring tradesmen and contractors performing project activities in all assigned facilities. The incumbent will maintain the CFC program as directed by the Contract. The Mechanic will properly train employees on CFC regulations to ensure the Company adheres to all Federal, State and Local regulations. The Mechanic will provide technical support on related equipment. Work Model: Onsite/Office-based Pay Rate: $38.85 Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions:
