DAWSON is currently seeking applicants to fill our Scheduler position to support Medical Readiness services for the Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG). Key Responsibilities:



  • Work collaboratively with the FLARNG Medical Detachment (MedDet), MRNCOs, and Unit Leadership
  • Maintain Medical Readiness events calendar
  • Establish and maintain roster deadlines
  • Lead pre-event T-cons between MedDet, MRNCOs, and Unit Leadership
  • Shall be available to travel to pre-approved medical readiness events (50 annually), SRPs, state training events, and/or drill assemblies to assist in converting SMs to MRC 1 or 2.
  • Work with MedDet in training new MRNCOs regarding Medical Readiness processes and procedures
  • Ensure follow-up for DRC3 Soldiers referred to the GPC program
  • Ensure H2/H3 Soldiers are referred to locally contracted events for follow-up testing
  • Safeguard all Soldiers' information
  • Ensure all actions comply with HIPAA and other appropriate federal/state laws and regulations


Must possess the following:



  • A valid US driver's license
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience with knowledge of military culture.
  • Knowledge of common assessment tools used by medical/dental professional's to complete evaluations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with difficult clientele face to face, via email, and on the telephone.
  • Basic skills and knowledge of operating office equipment such as computer, scanner, printer, fax.
  • Shall have the ability to work independently without supervision and also as part of a team.
  • Personal Computer (PC) proficiency, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Must submit no less than two professional references with resume.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Technical skills preferred include MEDCHART, Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), MEDPROS Web Data Entry (MWDE), and Medical Operational Data System (MODS).
  • Preferred skill to have is working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to

    Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment
