The Enterprise Business Transformation organization is looking for a Program Manager to oversee and execute complex, cross-functional technology programs, defining and taking accountability for milestones, dependencies and outcomes.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Plan, execute, and monitor multiple interrelated projects to ensure successful outcomes within defined timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, vendors, and executive management, to align project objectives with organizational goals and drive effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with and mentor members of the PMO Team.
  • Develop and manages effective working relationships with all relevant team members and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

  • Large-scale project management experience operating effectively in a global and matrixed organizations.
  • Training and experience in a project management discipline (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Agile); certification preferred.
  • Proven ability in coaching program managers and technical teams in the correct frameworks (i.e. agile, traditional/waterfall) for the work at hand, at scale.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
  • Excellent client-facing skills - experience working effectively across all levels of an organization (C-suite through first-line management, SMEs, etc.).
  • Experience with offshoring projects/programs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. in a relevant technical field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years' experience, including 3 years' experience in a hands-on role such as scrum master or Agile project management.
  • Effective collaboration with and enablement of others with diligent attention to detail, courageous confrontation when needed, and selfless dedication to other's success.
  • Must be flexible and comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to accept and embrace feedback.
  • Ability to drive results in a dynamic environment, by managing multiple stakeholder expectations and relationships.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle is preferred.
  • Exposure to major and relevant domain areas such as product, merchandising, ecommerce, retail, marketing, or supply chain preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate influence without authority.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex matters into easy to clarify actions and next steps.

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
