The Position

Job Description
Summary The Early Career recruiter will be responsible for attracting, engaging and assessing early career talent. They will manage relationships with senior leaders, and partner with enterprise-wide stakeholders in the Learning and Development, HR and Operations teams. This role will support First United's early careertalent and development strategy and actively listen to our stakeholders to continuously improve and transform our Early Career programs. Key Responsibilities High level responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong connections with identified partner Colleges. Guide, plan and facilitate the campus recruiting process at those Colleges
- Facilitate and support the intern interview and selection process
- Actively partner with early career assessment tools that support selection, development, and promotion by:
- Providing training and consulting for reading assessments, coaching tools, development resources, and platform use to hiring managers.
- Collaborating with HR and Hiring Managers to thread shared language through the selection, development, and performance evaluation processes.
- Support L&D partners in the design and implementation of the Summer College Intern and Elevate U Program.
- Advise HR, Leaders, and Employees who are engaged in the talent planning process. Provide guidance and coaching on career pathing and personal growth opportunities for early to mid-career level employees.
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Bank's, emphasizing the identified vision, purpose, values, and guiding principles.
Preferred skills and abilities
- Outstanding verbal communicator with the ability to speak effectively with all levels of leadership and facilitate discussions on various operations-related subject matter, both internally and externally.
- Interviewing and selection expertise
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Exemplary writing and editing skills.
- Proficient in Word and PowerPoint; possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to evaluate processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts
- Self-motivated, assertive, detailed, and dependable with a collaborative team approach.
- Experience conducting administrative and reporting tasks within applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Additional duties and responsibilities
- Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
- Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Travel up to 25% of time.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience in Recruiting,
- Program / Project Management, Career Coaching, &/or Banking experience is a plus
