Network Analyst

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Network Analyst to join our team! This position will provide support and maintenance for the network infrastructure for all locations and configurations, including assist in the management of routers, switches, telecommunications gear, and other key components of the network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide escalation support and assistance to Tier 1 support staff.
• Follow up on open tickets and keep in contact with users until the issue is resolved.
• Monitor all LANWAN circuits and ensure they are up and available at all times.
• Maintain all routers and switches, includes monitoring, update, installing, configuration and backup.
• Support the company's connection to the Internet by ensuring internet link is up and operational and secure.
• Troubleshoot issues at remote locations by working with users to troubleshoot issues.
• Complete periodic risk and security attestations and controls on various core subjects as deemed necessary.
• Support project based network changes and implementations.
• Coordinate with others inside and outside of the Technology group to troubleshoot and provide designer recommendations for applications and systems.

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Two (2) years of information technology experience.
  
  

The following would be a plus:

• Associate's degree or technical training in computer science or related field.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA).
