The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for an Information Technology Assistant to provide research support administration services for our government customer in San Antonio, TX.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with DHA to ensure accurate trouble ticket status and expedited resolution for senior personnel.
  • Provide support for IT conferencing requirements, ensuring communication reliability. Set up and train personnel on VTC events withing the IT's responsibility
  • Provide Information Assurance and content management support for personnel with a SME to manage websites and support to the Functional Area Manager and Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Provide knowledgeable support for hardware, software, network, web, and email systems used by personnel.
  • Work with the IT Specialist to support technology refresh events, issuing computing assets, mobile devices, software installations, and portable electronic storage devices.
  • Track and submit service desk tickets for IT issues, escalating and resolving impacting issues with DHA.
  • Coordinate IT support with other IT organizations, assess each issue/request, and keep users apprised of service request resolution status.
  • Oversee hardware and software inventory accounting and asset management processes.
  • Provide full DoN Naval Enterprise Network (NEN) local technical support including workstation, printer, wireless, and other IT requirements.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

Minimum of bachelor's degree in Information technology and two (2) year specialized experience in configuring computer hardware and software

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
