Our software delivers insightful observability tools across different technologies and distributed systems, enabling software engineering teams to quickly identify, understand and tackle issues, analyze performance and get the most of their software and infrastructure.

The Pricing Strategy and Monetization function is a key strategic lever for New Relic to have sustained growth. We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Senior Pricing Analyst to join the team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing pricing and commercial strategies to support business objectives.

This role will report to the Senior Director of Pricing Strategy and Monetization. It provides plenty of exposures and exciting opportunities to make impacts.

What you'll do




  • Drive revenue growth and optimize profitability by developing innovative pricing and commercial strategies



  • Spearhead strategic pricing and commercial efforts to enhance commercial performance and unlock new revenue streams



  • Translates market insights into actionable pricing initiatives by conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to understand competitive landscape and identify pricing opportunities and threats



  • Transform complex datasets into clear, compelling insights that reveal key trends and drive more data-driven decisions



  • Develop comprehensive business cases to drive alignment on the recommendations by closely collaborating with product, marketing, sales, and finance teams



  • Lead or contribute to high-priority projects and initiatives requested by senior executives



  • Own the execution of pricing and commercial decisions by delivering business requirements to cross-functional teams to ensure a successful launch





This role requires




  • 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, business analysis, or a similar analytical role, preferably in a high-tech or SaaS environment.



  • Knowledge of specific pricing methodologies and pricing research techniques



  • Proven ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and present complex data while being comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity.



  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units and across regions.



  • Ability to work without supervision in a fast-paced high-tech environment.



  • Proficiency in Excel/Google sheets is highly recommended.



  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills



  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.



The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
