You will be part of the Commodities Global Markets Technology Platform team, where you will provide effective first and second level support for Commodity and Global Markets applications, both in-house and vendor supplied. You will be part of the Post Trade Support team in Houston; and collectively with other support team in Sydney and London form a global "Follow the Sun" model.

What role will you play?

As a member of the Commodity and Global Markets Technology team, you will partner with development teams, infrastructure teams, business solutions groups and senior stakeholders across the globe to drive the best-of-breed production environment for our Market Operations clients. You will be responsible for the support of critical applications used by of Commodities and Global Markets products. This is a role that deals with time sensitive service deliverables in which accuracy of processing and timely escalation and communication is essential.

What you offer

  • Experience within the financial industry focusing on Post-Trade platforms
  • Take opportunities to identify, prioritize and address operational improvements, resolve user queries, eliminate manual processes, improve documentation, and fix defects
  • Experience handling Incident and Problems to ensure healthy and stable environments, and experience writing SQL queries and interacting with databases (Sybase/Oracle)
  • Good working knowledge of UNIX and ITIL tools (e.g. Remedy) for Incident/Change/Problem management
  • Strong learning mindset to keep up with the demand of the business and the rapid change of technology and experience with Calypso, Fenergo or TLM is advantageous.
