Director of Property Accounting The Director of Property Accounting oversees the financial affairs, reviews, and ensures the accurate preparation of all end-of-month (EOM) reporting and monthly financial statements/packets. They also ensure that the accounting department adheres to company policies, procedures, and company-approved accounting practices, maintains fiscal records, and prepares financial reports. The Controller sets the tone in establishing a customer service attitude within the accounting department and communicates priorities that include but are not limited to: monthly financial reviews, journal entry, re-class and variance reporting activity, timely submittal of EOM accounting package, ongoing communication with the Vice President of Property Management Accounting regarding accounting challenges and inter-departmental communications.
