As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Provide customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff with directions and information as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
