The Role
Presidio is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Vice President of Corporate Development to lead our M&A platform through the next phase of growth. As a senior member of our M&A organization, this executive will drive end-to-end execution of inorganic growth initiatives-sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and integrating strategic acquisitions that accelerate Presidio's long-term vision.

This role is both a dealmaker and an integrator, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and a hands-on leader managing the full M&A lifecycle. The ideal candidate has deep experience across the deal spectrum, thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments, and brings sound judgment, operational rigor, and executive presence to cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

M&A Strategy & Origination



  • Partner with executive leadership and financial sponsor to refine Presidio's M&A strategy across key segments (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure).
  • Source and evaluate strategic targets in partnership with investment banks, industry contacts, and internal business units.
  • Develop strategic theses for acquisition, expansion, and adjacent market opportunities.


Transaction Execution




    • Lead full lifecycle deal execution, including diligence planning, financial analytics and modeling, valuation, negotiations, and deal structuring.
    • Own internal and external, third-party advisor workstream coordination and management across Legal, Finance, Tax, HR, and IT to drive seamless execution from IOI through close


    Strategic Post Transaction Leadership




      • Drive integration planning in partnership with the IMO and business unit leaders.
      • Ensure value capture through early identification, measurement and tracking of synergies, cultural alignment, and cross-functional readiness.
      • Monitor integration KPIs and conduct post-close performance tracking.


      Executive Communication & Board Materials




        • Prepare and present M&A updates to the CEO, executive team, financial sponsor and Board of Directors.
        • Develop investment committee materials, internal memoranda, synergy models, and board communications.


        Market & Competitive Intelligence



        • Lead ongoing market mapping efforts to identify whitespace opportunities, industry disruptors, and potential partnerships.
        • Maintain deep knowledge of evolving trends in private equity, managed services, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms.


        Qualifications



        • 5+ years of experience in M&A execution, with a blend of experience in middle-market investment banking, private equity, and corporate development roles.
        • Proven track record of leading full deal cycles from sourcing through integration in a PE-backed or high-growth, acquisitive environment.
        • Strong command of financial analytics and modeling, valuation frameworks, and deal structuring
        • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing C-level stakeholders.
        • Demonstrated success working with founder-led businesses, navigating incomplete data sets and relationship-driven negotiations.
        • High emotional intelligence, executive presence, and ability to manage through ambiguity with a sense of urgency and ownership.
        • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution required; MBA preferred
