Manifest Entry Coordinator

Essential Functions & Requirements:

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
• Entry of inbound waste manifests into MMS
• Review manifests for correct waste codes, container types and other manifest information.
• Follow up with customers, Tech Services or Approvals to resolve all issues or holds with inbound waste manifests.
• Assist in the resolution of manifest problems on inbound loads.
• Coordinate truck deliveries from the 10-day with BOP and Heritage Transport.
• Work with Production Chemists / Operations Planner for prioritizing the unloading of container trucks
• Act as back up to the Manifest Compliance Coordinator as needed.
• Includes compliant processing of inbound waste manifests in final stage, LDR requirements, scanning, QC checks, mailing, filing, signing, as well as managing outbound manifests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Basic understanding of environmental regulations is required.
• Multi-tasking and prioritizing skills are a must.
• Requires strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with HTS waste profiles and knowledge of MMS / ARTS is a plus.

Competencies:

• Must possess strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to work with customers and possess strong team skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
