Position Summary

Responsibilities of this position include: Conducting a post-closing documentation review of all Consumer loans to include unsecured loans, CD and Saving secured loans, and vehicle loans to ensure compliance with the bank's credit policy, all state/federal lending laws, and consumer compliance regulations. Setting up collateral and compliance ticklers (documentation deficiencies) within the core processing system. Processing incoming e-titles. Reviewing imaged loan documents to ensure that the documents have been indexed correctly, accurately associated with correct borrower, and are clear/readable images. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. Adhering to the internal loan policy and procedures of the bank, as well as adherence to compliance regulations and state/federal banking laws. Maintaining department workflow standards. Handling vault custodial duties to ensure safe keeping of bank assets within the vault.

Qualifications
General Qualifications

Required Education/Knowledge:



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • General understanding of consumer lending terminology, compliance regulations and consumer loan documentation
  • Six months to one year working in a financial institution, preferably in the loan area.



Preferred Education/Knowledge:

  • Associate's Degree from a two-year college in a business related


field or equivalent combination of related work experience in

banking/finance.



  • Thorough understanding of consumer lending terminology, compliance regulations and consumer loan documentation.
  • A minimum of one years' work experience in consumer loan documentation area.



Required Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze and apply policies and procedures, and


interpret procedural documents.



  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong Time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and answer questions in


verbal or written form.



  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills and


communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of

internal and external customers.



  • Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Outlook,


Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets.
