CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

This role is responsible for providing great customer service at the Global Technical Center, a 600,000fts research and development facility in Brecksville, OH. With this role, each day is different, so we are looking for someone comfortable with change and can prioritize their workload. They will assist the Building Services teams with daily operations as assigned by management. This includes:



  • Performing office moves for employees
  • Move furniture and/or equipment throughout the facility
  • Escort and assist vendors/contractors related to building inspections, service agreements, and other circumstances where internal presence is required
  • Perform conference room setups and assist catering setups for meetings, working with the Event and Resources Management group
  • Regularly inspect building, reporting any concerns or disrepair to supervisor
  • Work with janitorial team to ensure custodial requests are fulfilled
  • Operate company vehicle for miscellaneous tasks - delivering/picking up materials, oil changes, emissions testing, etc.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jacks, compactor and other department equipment
  • Assist other Facilities teams as needed
  • Other items assigned by manager

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:



  • Required:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • 1-2+ years relevant working experience
  • High degree of professionalism

  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written form
  • Ability to respond open and close work requests in the computerized maintenance management system
