Salary Range Starting at: $17.65/per hour Job Objective: Under the supervision of the IN Divisional Service Extension Director, this position provides administrative and secretarial support for the Service Extension team. Responsibilities include typing, filing, financial record keeping, supply acquisition, and correspondence and miscellaneous tasks as requested. Handling confidential and sensitive information is an integral component of this position. The Administrative Assistant must use independent judgment, be self-motivated, and able to multi-task. The ability to prioritize and organize diverse tasks is essential. Ultimately, the successful Administrative Assistant will ensure the effective day to day operation of the office. What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. An associate degree is preferred. Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed. Experience: Candidates with 2 or more years' experience as an administrative assistant will be given greater consideration Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment. Fidelity Bond upon hire will be required to handle finances. Skills/Abilities:
