Role Description POSITION SUMMARY This position acts as the Zoetis Reference Lab (ZRL) subject matter expert (SME) partnering across Infrastructure tower leads in support of engineering and troubleshooting issues with network, desktop, server, and Lab Information Systems applications. This role will be the main point of contact with ZRL leadership to resolve incidents and escalate with appropriate internal and external resources as required by business objectives. This position will be the main point of contact for additional Zoetis Reference Labs IT Technical Support staff and will coordinate issue support upon shift changes. This role will provide guidance on other IT tasks to maintain the systems in optimal working order. This position will provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Zoetis Reference Lab's ecosystem, installation, and problem resolution. The Zoetis ecosystem consists of USB, Serial, Ethernet TCP/IP, internet connectivity, and associated infrastructure devices. The networking environment includes wired and wireless networking in small, medium, and large Laboratories / Office networks. The ecosystem extends to and includes basic support of Lab Information System's (LIS) integration. This position will deliver technical support onsite within the Louisville Laboratory. This position will coordinate and remotely support all other ZRL locations as needed in coordination with site leads and other technical team members. This position will require close interaction with internal colleagues, external vendor support teams, and third-party representatives engaged by Zoetis for their IT support. This position will lead in guiding the engineering, installation and troubleshooting processes, will provide technical direction to the involved parties, and will be responsible for driving the task to conclusion. This position will provide guidance and consultation to internal colleagues regarding possible ecosystem configurations and necessary equipment for specific installation scenarios. This will involve potential collection and analysis of site survey information and interviews with internal colleagues, and third-party support vendors engaged by Zoetis. Point of contact for additional Zoetis Reference Labs IT Technical Support staff providing guidance on IT incidents and tasks. Deliver technical support remotely at Laboratories and Office locations Provide guidance and consultation to internal colleagues regarding possible ecosystem configurations and necessary equipment for specific installation scenarios.
