Experience Required

  • Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls. Provides complete explanation of testing instructions and preparations
  • Schedules services, ensuring all aspects of appointments are appropriate and accurate, including patient demographics and appointment details.

  • Obtains and records patient insurance, prescription, referral and other financial and clinical documents. Explains financial requirements to the patients or responsible parties. Verifies insurance eligibility and ensures that insurance requirements are met prior to delivery of service.

  • Accurately processes all requests and documents appropriate information in CAST tracking tool based on established office protocol.


Education Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent

Special Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of medical/radiology terminology
  • Minimum 3 years of medical office/authorization/insurance experience, preferred
  • Positive, upbeat disposition with ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Must be proficient in Word/Excel and EMR, have good organizational skills
