We're looking for a senior-level communicator who brings a strategic mindset, creative storytelling, and a strong executive presence. As the Senior Communications Manager for Cisco's Customer & Partner Success (CSPS) organization, you'll partner closely with our SVP and senior leadership team to shape messaging, drive alignment, and create meaningful engagement across a global team. Your work will connect people to purpose, clarify priorities, and reinforce culture through high-impact communications.

The TeamYou'll be embedded in the CSPS leadership team, working cross-functionally with thought leaders across Customer Experience, Global Communications, People & Communities, and other business functions. This role sits at the intersection of executive communications, employee engagement, and business strategy - and plays a key part in how we bring our vision to life for over 1,000 employees around the world.

Your Impact

You'll help translate strategic initiatives and organizational goals into communications that are timely, authentic, and actionable. Your ability to simplify the complex, create compelling content, and support change will strengthen employee understanding, build connection, and foster a more engaged, aligned workforce.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Advising and partnering directly with the SVP and senior leaders to shape internal messaging, positioning, and executive visibility
  • Designing and executing communications strategies across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles
  • Developing content across formats - including talking points, leadership presentations, newsletters, internal videos, and team updates
  • Simplifying complex business updates and strategic priorities into clear, employee-friendly messaging
  • Planning and facilitating internal events and communications moments (e.g., all-hands meetings, AMAs, milestone celebrations)
  • Managing multiple initiatives and communication workflows simultaneously
  • Leading channel strategy for key internal platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, internal email newsletters)
  • Collaborating across functions to ensure consistency, alignment, and message clarity
  • Using data, feedback, and audience insights to continuously improve communication impact
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, internal communications, or a related field
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills - with the ability to craft compelling, concise messaging
  • Proven experience working directly with and advising senior executives
  • Strong project and content management skills across multiple workstreams
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet CMS, SharePoint, Teams, email platforms)
  • Ability to remain flexible and responsive to senior leadership priorities
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting organizational change and employee engagement initiatives
  • Familiarity with customer success, SaaS, or technology organizations
  • A collaborative, confident communicator who brings energy, empathy, and clarity to every interaction
