Primary Purpose: The Sr. Analyst of Accounting Policy will be critical in supporting the organization's compliance with U.S. GAAP by researching and interpreting complex accounting standards and leading the implementation of new guidance. The Sr. Analyst of Accounting Policy will aid in the evaluation and implementation of new and existing accounting rules, ensuring timely compliance. This role supports global accounting teams in correct application of accounting policies, as well as providing ad hoc technical accounting research to help ensure accounting conclusions are aligned with GAAP. This role reports into the Director, Accounting Policy. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Accounting Policies and Technical Accounting to... * Serve as a go-to resource for internal stakeholders seeking guidance on accounting treatment for unique or unfamiliar arrangements. Collaborate with business partners to assess the accounting implications of new contracts, transactions, and business initiatives. * Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures in response to changes impacting accounting standards, the regulatory environment and the Company. * Research and interpret U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance to assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos and maintenance of audit documentation. * Support the preparation and delivery of training materials educating internal stakeholders on accounting policy matters. * Proactively engage with subject matter experts, external auditors, and other stakeholders to align on accounting conclusions and ensure compliance. * Prepare journal entries and financial disclosures related to the Company's equity-based compensation, derivative instruments, and other complex or non-routine transactions at period ends. The accomplished individual will possess... * Proficiency in researching and interpreting the FASB Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) and SEC regulations. * Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent team player who works extremely well in a collaborative environment * Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and strong project management skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities with a positive attitude * Ability to take initiative and own projects to completion * Excellent presentation skills to articulate complex technical accounting topics to stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds An outstanding professional will have... * 3+ years experience, a combination of experience and education will be considered * Experience working with external auditors and managing audit-related technical discussions * Familiarity with accounting for equity compensation, derivatives/ debt, goodwill and indefinite-lived intangibles * Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
