Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (Temp-to-Hire)

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our Quality team, you'll ensure our products meet rigorous industry standards and customer expectations. In this role, you will:




  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electromechanical components, textiles, and composites in an AS9100-certified environment



  • Verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and test requirements



  • Support First Article Inspections in compliance with AS9102



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Material Review Boards (MRB) and drive root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes



  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve non-conformances and corrective actions



  • Maintain inspection data and supplier documentation for customer distribution



  • Participate in internal audits, support the Quality Management System (QMS), and contribute to CMMI and AS9100 initiatives



  • Assist with procedure and work instruction development



  • Support source inspections (minimal travel <10%)




What You Bring to the Table


  • BS degree (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering)



  • 2-4 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment



  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows



  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills



  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment




Bonus Points For


  • Familiarity with AMS specifications and welding processes



  • Internal auditing experience



  • IPC-A-610/620 certification



  • Prior experience working with DoD electromechanical products



  • Strong knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5



  • Experience in ISO9001 or AS9100 environments
