Your role

Your mission as a Regional Sales Manager - Portable Air at Atlas Copco is to spearhead sales growth by utilizing your technical skills and keen understanding of customer requirements. You will take charge of the sales landscape in your designated territory, which encompasses South Texas and South Louisiana. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of the Southwest Region, you will collaborate closely with our dynamic marketing and product teams to ensure that sales strategies are not only developed but successfully executed.

In this pivotal role, you will:



  • Accelerate the growth of Atlas Copco's portable compressor, hand tool, and air treatment product lines, while expanding market share among dealers and the independent rental sector.
  • Forge strategic relationships that enable you to uncover and capitalize on both visible and hidden market opportunities, enhancing account penetration.
  • Work proactively to establish Atlas Copco as the premier supplier for a comprehensive range of equipment, services, and support.
  • Engage actively in both face-to-face and remote sales activities, targeting new customers while nurturing existing clientele for cross/up/upward sales opportunities.
  • Evaluate customer needs meticulously, proposing tailored solutions that resonate with their operational objectives.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations that clearly illustrate the benefits and features of Atlas Copco products.
  • Leverage the CRM system to maintain comprehensive records of sales proposals, pipeline developments, and pertinent customer interactions.
  • Craft medium- to long-term sales strategies aimed at protecting, expanding, and diversifying your relationships with target customers.
  • Implement sales strategies with absolute precision, utilizing your technical expertise and insight into customer needs.
  • NOTE: This role necessitates a commitment to extensive overnight travel, averaging up to 60% of your time.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, or business administration is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in capital equipment sales, particularly in the equipment rental or civil construction industries.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for this role.

Job location

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from any location within the assigned territory, with a preference for South Texas. You will remain closely connected to our Southwest Region and collaborate with our customer center based in the USA.
