Travel & Expense Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Global Travel & Expense Administration
  • Perform the day-to-day functions of maintaining the Global Concur Expense platform, travel management company (TMC) platform and Company credit card program.
  • Assist with ongoing training and support to end users, new employees and Local Administrators.
  • Support T&E implementation projects for new acquisitions.
  • Serve as Administrator for T&E platforms and perform back-end system configurations, including: policy and audit configurations, credit card feeds, remittance files, HRIS feed, privacy settings, etc.
  • Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy, completeness and adherence to company policies.
  • Stay informed of current trends within global travel environment.
  • Maintain T&E intranet landing page ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Vendor & System Coordination
  • Serve as point of contact for TMC provider, expense platform providers and corporate card issuers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues with vendors.
  • Attend monthly and quarterly QBRs with travel partners to ensure business expectations around budget, savings, adoption and leakage are met.
  • Collaborate with indirect sourcing on RFQs and contract renewals for T&E vendors.
Data Analytics
  • Generate regular reports highlighting standard T&E metrics, policy exceptions and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support internal and external audit requests with appropriate documentation.
  • Provide reporting as needed for internal business partners (tax, finance, HR) and managers around spending trends.
Process Improvement
  • Recommend and implement improvements to T&E policies, processes and workflows.
  • Conduct training for employees on system use and standard processes.
Corporate Card Administration
  • Be responsible for the corporate card program, including card issuance, limit adjustments, cancellations and reconciliations.
  • Assist employees with disputes, lost cards and fraudulent transactions.
  • Work with credit card vendors on hierarchy management, program structure, FTD, transaction feeds and account limits.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting.
YOU HAVE:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in travel & expense administration is preferred.
  • Experience with expense management tools (Concur a plus), travel management companies and credit card programs preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Prior experience in a multinational or fast paced corporate environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with international travel compliance and tax implications preferred.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
