Position: Senior CAD Technician

Location: Orlando, FL

We are looking for a Sr. CAD Technician who is looking for the opportunity to work on exciting projects in our Orlando office. Our ideal candidate is passionate about drafting and works well in a fast paced and collaborative environment. The Road CAD Technician will work with our engineering team to develop plan sets for large road projects in Florida.

Operates CAD station proficiently to develop finished drawings and operates plotter to reproduce drawings.
• Analyze sketches, notes or other input material to determine best approach.
• Recommend new methods and procedures to CAD Manager to increase efficiency and proficiency in operation.
• Development of CAD drawings for Transportation projects.
• Selects methods from preceding work, instructions and company standards
• More experienced professionals may assist in training and review work of CAD drafters and staff engineers.

• 10+ years of relative experience- Position level/title will be determined based upon years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microstation/Geopak preferred.
• FDOT experience preferred.
• Degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Design, or similar area of study.
• Other duties as assigned
