HDR is currently in need of a Project Delivery Manager to work as a member of our growing PA/OH/WV/DE Transportation Business Group Program. Primary Responsibilities:
- HDR is currently looking for a Project Delivery Manager in PA/OH/WV/DE. They will be expected to drive the area transportation team to deliver successful project performance and superior project management. Their work will help foster client satisfaction through projects kept on schedule and on budget, with high quality deliverables. They will contribute to the growth and skills of the transportation project management staff. They must have the ability to serve as a senior project manager for projects and at the same time be responsible for the coordination of their program with area leadership. They must be comfortable with being viewed as a recognized authority in an area of project management.
- In the role of Project Delivery Manager, we'll count on you to:
- Develop and implement business group controls and reporting procedures to capture and manage project delivery, in alignment with corporate, regional, and area goals and practices.
- Project management skills development - Work with the business group manager in staff development, project management training and mentorship.
- Monitor, avoid, and minimize project loss and claims.
- Oversee and coordinate with quality, commercial management, production and BIM managers for the success of projects and business group.
- Workshare management - Oversee section workload reporting and coordinate the workload summaries with the Transportation Business Group Manager.
- Streamline Area project management processes (remove barriers to execution).
- Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- MSCE preferred.
- PE license.
- Previous work experience with an A/E/C Engineering firm preferred.
- 15+ years project management related experience in appropriate discipline.
- Candidate should have excellent project management skills.
- Previous experience managing staff, clients, and contracts for an engineering team is desired.
