Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

We are looking for candidates who lives within a commutable drivable distance to our Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC office.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Generalist provides human resource support to the HRBP team and managers in one or more business units and assists with annual HR processes that include talent development, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, talent acquisition and workforce planning. This position will be responsible for implementing HR programs and processes, analyzing employee data and reporting, and supporting a variety of HR projects and initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Business and Program Support - Provide support to HRBP teams and business unit managers with implementation of HR programs, processes and projects within one ore more business units. Provide coaching and/or solutions to address business issues related to workforce planning, compensation, performance management, and talent management.
  • Business Alignment - Build collaborative relationships with business unit managers and others in the HR organization. Coach managers with communication and change management needs. Communicate to business units regarding HR matters through both verbal and written communication. Champion diversity, inclusion and process improvement.
  • HR Resource - Develop, analyze and manage employee data reporting. Create presentations with recommended actions. Act as a subject matter expert on HR policies and processes. Ensure organizational changes are implemented timely and accurately.
  • Risk Mitigation - Identify mitigation strategies to reduce business risk tied to human capital.
  • Support managers through performance management process, ensuring compliance with HR policies and proactively managing risk. Aids in employee relations issues as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Human Resources consulting or as a Human Resources business partner OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Human Resources consulting or as a Human Resources business partner

Preferred Area of Study: Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

Preferred Area of Experience: Human Resources

License or Certification Type: PHR/SPHR Preferred, SHRM/CP Preferred, SHRM/SCP Preferred

Skill(s): Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and of current HR trends

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, preferably in a client facing role.Strong MS Office experience, including advanced Excel and Power Point skills
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, able to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must be able to work independently on assigned duties while successfully collaborating in a team friendly environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are important as multi-tasking is essential.
