Join us as our new Inventory Coordinator

This position works under limited supervision and is primarily responsible for managing inventory accuracy and integrity.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Executing and managing cycle count program to include ambient and -55 degree freezer.
• Overseeing & participating in all inventory audits internal and external.
• Pro-actively overseeing in-house storage and maintain 85% utilization.
• Processing and disposing of frozen and ambient discards. This will include coordination with EHS, pack teams, planning and QC.
• Runing daily storage condition report to ensure proper storage temperatures by GIN.
• Overseeing dispute BIN and investigate and remedy root causes.
• Monitoring 711/712 transactions with actions to reduce movements.
• Working with planning to review blocked stock on a monthly basis.
• Maintaining proper labeling and Kanban on all racks and storage to note no-inventoried items.
• Acting as back up for receiving and office coordinators.
• Participating in LEAN work activities / projects as required.
• Adhering to guidelines as set forth by religious dietary law certifications (Kosher and Halal).

To succeed you must hold:

• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Possess the ability to identify root causes and preventative actions.
• Possess the ability to coach/train the warehouse team to improve inventory practices.
• Possess a working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs and SAP.
• Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Must be able to multi-task in a high paced, high intensity environment.
• Possess ability to use relevant equipment such as a forklift, Landoll, and pallet walker.
• These characteristics are normally acquired through a High School Diploma or GED, and a minimum of three years related experience in Shipping/Receiving, Inventory/Production Control.

Working Conditions
Working environment is generally favorable and in an office setting. Lighting, temperature and noise levels are adequate. The employee is occasionally required to be in the warehouse.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, keyboard and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
