Staff IT Analyst III - Portfolio Delivery Lead

What you'll do:

As the Staff IT Analyst III, you'll lead activities to review current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness, identify constraints or opportunities that inhibit or accelerate the business and/or technology strategy, while also developing potential options/approaches to improve business outcomes. You'll also lead development and review of artifacts to ensure they accurately describe current state processes, practices, and/or metrics, while also ensuring the documentation of any alternative processes or practice options with associated impact on KRIs, KPIs or Operational Metrics. Additionally, as the Staff IT Analyst III, you'll identify and facilitate discussions with IT, Product, and the Business subject matter experts, to understand the problem statement and/or opportunity while also capturing any relevant insights to include a full review of the findings or artifacts produced to validate the right problem or opportunity is being assessed. In this role, you will take lead in assisting the Technology Infrastructure & Operations teams to organize, manage, and deliver key IT operational workstreams. Your guidance and leadership in driving continuous delivery are essential to building strong collaboration and team predictability. This role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills to resolve, escalate, or eliminate impediments and focus on building high-performing teams across the technology towers
  • Lead on projects with the expectation the business outcomes are achieved. Work to fully understand how the work connects to the defined project objectives, the work breakdown structure for the activities, setting and meeting deadlines for that work. Lead discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts needed to gather requirements and review artifacts, while working to resolve issues that impede progress.
  • Develop list of critical documentation and artifacts to meet project objectives and complete development of high-quality deliverables, while effectively communicating any relevant learnings, findings, or impacts, with the subject matter experts.
  • Leverage Risk Management experience from a large financial institution subject to heightened standards, specifically in risk, compliance, or corporate governance.
  • The capture and upkeep of KRIs, KPIs, & Operational Metrics, as necessary.
  • Design and implement a strategic planning framework aligned to enterprise objectives.
  • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to define and prioritize key initiatives and investment themes.
  • Develop and communicate roadmaps that link strategic priorities to delivery execution.
  • Introduce and help establish Agile Release Trains (ARTs) or cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt.
  • Provide training and coaching to teams and stakeholders new to Agile concepts and practices.
  • Define and implement a lightweight portfolio governance structure.
  • Enable prioritization and resource allocation aligned with value streams.
  • Create visibility into portfolio performance, capacity planning, and initiative status.
  • Serve as a change agent to support Agile mindset adoption and planning maturity.
  • Facilitate leadership alignment and help remove organizational impediments to change.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, continuous learning, and collaboration.
  • Support rollout and adoption of Agile planning and portfolio tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, ServiceNow Platform, Workfront).
  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership on transformation progress.

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced in process and data analysis within a specific domain or functional area utilizing critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced working in Microsoft Office & relevant Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.), as well as technical aptitude & experience within a specific domain.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
