The Director, IT Strategic Sourcing is responsible for the global strategy and management of IT Sourcing categories on a multi-country and multi-Cencora divisional basis. This role develops the broad vision of what software's and services Cencora should pursue to source, either solely or in conjunction with other functional areas within all business units. This role is responsible for the development, execution and compliance of IT sourcing strategies for all business units globally to maximize the overall value to Cencora. The Director - IT Strategic Sourcing is responsible for finalizing requirements specifications for SOWs, problem resolution with IT vendors, and serving as a liaison to the business. This role may be responsible for managing resources that oversee the day to day business relationship between Cencora and the respective service suppliers. Responsibilities
Education and work Experience Requires relatable professional experience in indirect categories within a matrixed environment. Educational requirements include a minimum of a bachelor's degree in either supply chain management, business administration or finance. A minimum of seven (7) years' experience. Preferably ten (10) years working within indirect procurement and/or strategic sourcing. Skills and Knowledge
