 - 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Summary: Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production equipment and buildings to company standard. Job Duties:
  The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. 
 
  
 - PC to PLC program maintenance, troubleshooting, and control devices
 - Effectively use hand tools and electric or pneumatic power tools
 - Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment
 - Read electrical schematics
 - Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical failure of operational equipment
 - Set up new equipment lines and equipment changeovers
 - Train production and other maintenance personnel
 - Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects on due dates
 - Work on electrical systems up to 480 VAC
 - Strong knowledge in motor control circuits, automated valves and process controls
 - Ensure that all processes are followed
 - Complete daily work order log
 - Complete PM's as assigned
 - Follow parts check out procedure
 - Follow all GMP standards
 - All other duties as assigned
 
  
 
  
Qualifications: 
 
  
 - Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance preferred or High School Diploma plus at least three years of related experience
 - Strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills
 - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
 - Experience with a Windows-based computer system (Microsoft Office programs and Maintenance Work Order software)
 - Ability to read and comprehend documents such as blueprints, schematics, work orders, etc.
 - Ability to write standard documentation and effectively present information to other employees
 - This position may require forklift certification
