Assistant Volleyball Coach (Part-Time) - Athletics - Division of Student Affairs

CarnegieMellon University is seeking applicants for a part-time, fixed term Assistant Coach in its intercollegiate Women's Volleyball program. A national research university, Carnegie Mellon is a member of the NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports program. This is a part-time, seasonal position from October through February.

Core responsibilities include:

• Assist the head coach in conducting practice sessions by demonstrating skill instruction, motivation, and technical competency.

• Support the personal, academic, and athletic development of student-athletes by fostering a positive and inclusive team environment aligned with program goals.

• Model leadership, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions with student-athletes and staff.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 1 year of athletic coaching experience required

• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check

• Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)

• Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)

• OSHA on the job Hazardous Materials Safety Training
