The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The manager is responsible for the linen program, functions and associated fte's to include, but not limited to ensuring safe practice and efficient linen distribution and retrieval. The manager will be responsible for efficiencies, streamlining processes and workflows associated with the linen program.

The primary role of the linen program is to collect, sort, weigh, distribute linen and linen related items ie, scrubs, as part of the established linen program and approved policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications,

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associate Degree Required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred,
  • 2 years or more field-related experience required,
  • Related experience can be used in lieu of a college degree

Essential Fumctions:

  • Direct responsibility of the linen program to include distribution of and retrieval of clean linen
  • Manage FTEs associated with and assigned to the program/department including operational, fiscal and financial responsibility
  • Streamline and improve the linen program processes and workflows for efficiencies, safety, quality, compliance and cost savings
  • Monitor and ensure par levels are accurate for service delivery of linen to established areas
  • Work with linen vendors and key stakeholders as part of the linen program
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams and proactively evaluate and identify opportunities of improvement to achieve excellence in the linen program
  • Proactively follow up on any identified opportunities, concerns and/or issues as a means to improve the program service
  • Escalate any issues, concerns, and opportunities to appropriate supervisor or stakeholders
  • Monitor supplies and equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency
  • Appropriately escalate any concerns to ensure optimal delivery of the program
  • Proactively promote best practices of the program to key stakeholders
  • Ensure linen and linen items ie, scrubs are collected, sorted, weighed, and distributed as part of the program
  • This includes both clean and soiled linen
  • Ensure staff members under the portfolio of responsibility are following the established and approved policies and procedures
  • Work on collecting, managing and reporting on data pertaining to the linen program
  • Participate in any program service evaluation activities, which may include linen surveys, and service provider surveys
  • Attend and participate in any trainings as needed or required
  • Ensure a neat and professional appearance while on duty to include adherence to the established mission, vision and core values of the system
