We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Authorization Delivery team, supporting the implementation of prior authorization products to payer organizations. In this highly client-facing role, you will lead the solutioning during the implementation of new and existing health plan clients for Availity's Essentials, Intelligent Gateway, and End to End Authorization products. You will act as a trusted consultant, guiding payers through configuration, workflow optimization, and best practices for leveraging Availity's prior authorization solutions. This is an opportunity to influence platform growth, represent the voice of the customer, and collaborate across teams to ensure successful implementations.

What you'll do?
  • Lead solution design for payer implementations for the End to End prior authorization products, including Essentials and Intelligent Gateway.

  • Conduct client-facing meetings and product demonstrations with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Document business and technical requirements, aligning them with scalable solutions from a multi-payer perspective.

  • Relay technical requirements and solution design review with the authorization engineering teams for collaboration, timeline estimates, and delivery of the optimal solution for both Availity and its payers.

  • Collaborate with Product Management on custom requests and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Participate in the sales discovery process, helping shape solutions that meet client needs.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across multiple payer clients, ensuring on-time delivery.

What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 3+ years in a client-facing solution design role, building strong internal and external relationships.

  • 3+ years working on projects or contracts greater than $1,000,000 ACV.

  • 5+ years of experience in technology consulting, technical implementation, or solutions delivery-healthcare experience required, specifically in the prior authorization space.

  • Ability to articulate product features and translate payer requirements into scalable solutions.

  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills with an understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business and technical documentation.

  • Proven ability to deliver in time-sensitive engagements and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Technical aptitude with healthcare workflows, high-volume transactions, and emerging technologies.

  • Balance between delivering the right solution to a payer and Availity's goal of scalable, innovative solutions supporting hypergrowth.

What will set you apart:
  • Vast experience with prior authorization solutions or utilization management workflows.

  • Prior delivery or solutioning engagements or employment with major payers in the industry.

  • Knowledge and expertise with healthcare data standards such as EDI, X12, FHIR, and APIs.

  • Knowledge of health plan systems and payer operations.

  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS solutions.

  • Working knowledge of Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Azure DevOps, Salesforce, or similar tools.

Video Camera Usage:
